On Tuesday, the USL Championship’s Nicholas Murray listed his top five forwards throughout the entire league, as well as five more names worth keeping tabs on. The Indomitable Club’s Dariusz Formella was listed among the names of dangerous goal scorers.
Murray mentioned in his article, “After a season of acclimation in 2019, Dariusz Formella took a major step forward last year at the top of Sacramento’s front line to lead the side with eight goals. Finding the same level of production that saw Formella record a 28.6 percent shot conversion rate in the new season would go a long way toward boosting Republic FC’s aim to claim the Western Conference crown…”

The Polish playmaker contributed a trio of multigoal games, registering two braces against Tacoma Defiance and netting the fastest brace in club history. On October 3 at home against Portland Timbers 2, it took him all of four minutes to find the back of the net twice.
