On Training This Week…
“It's been a decent week, we've obviously been preparing for San Diego. We’ve prepared the guys for what we think we'll face, and now we've got to go out and execute for a team that's on a good run in a hard environment.”

On the impact a win would have…
“A win would be massive. But to be honest, we need to go there and get something from the game. We need to show the right attitude, the right mentality and get something from it. If that's something is three points, great. But if that something is a point, it gives us a platform to build on and come back with two games at home.”

On what changes the team is working on…
“We've been doing individual video, we've been doing extra finishing exercises, and we’ve been getting the [attacking] group together more often. But this isn't just about the players- this is about us collectively as a group. They still have my belief and my trust, and they have their fellow players’ trust and belief as well. So we've just got to continue banging on the door.”

On his confidence in his teammates:
“We've got a lot of guys that have proven they can perform. Darek [Formella] obviously was on fire last year – we're waiting for him to really catch his form. When Tucker [Bone] has gotten his chances this year he has put some balls away. It’s one of those things that once we get one goal or one win, I think that the floodgates are going to kind of open for us.”
On the team’s resiliency through the recent rough patch…
“When you're playing with nothing to lose, down a goal or down a man like we have been, you might as well put it all out there. It's taken us going down a goal to really bring the fight out of us and that's something that we really need to focus on changing this week.”

On having good intensity from the start of the match…
“We've shown that when we're chasing, we're actually a very competitive team. Right now it's about trying to figure out how to start on the right foot and how can we find a way to get a result. Once you have the result and get confidence, you can start to build up to playing great ball over a full 90 minutes.”
On ignoring factors out of the team’s control…
“Sometimes you're going to go through bad luck, and things aren't going to go your way. But as long as you keep on pushing forward, eventually luck will break in your direction and you need to take advantage of it. We’re had a few things on our end that we can control – the red cards don't help us- but we're showing good signs and we still have a lot to play for.”
