Feeding the Frontlines: Catering to the Needs of Essential Workers – a special initiative led by Dr. Richard Pan, the Sacramento Central Labor Council, the Labor Project for Working Families and SactoMoFo launched today with a special lunch for the staff at UC Davis Health Medical Center.
Republic FC President and Chief Operating Officer Ben Gumpert joined the kickoff to help distribute meals and thank members of the club’s Indomitable family for all they have done during this pandemic, and for their work in safeguarding the health of the community

“These workers are heroes and we recognize their sacrifices and declare our commitment to keeping them safe by not spreading disease, said State Senator Dr. Richard Pan. “The people of the Sacramento region are caring and generous, and we protest shelter-in-place opponents who purposely engage in behaviors that endanger workers and our community.”
