The Republic FC’s next generation teams kicked off play on April 17 against De Anza Force. Three of the five groups pulled off victories with the U17s blanking Force’s U17s and earning a 2-0 win, the U15s also pulling off a 2-0 shutout victory and the U14s downing De Anza’s U14s, 3-1. The SRFC U19s kept a clean sheet during its 0-0 result against De Anza’s U19s while the U13s played out a 2-2 draw.
The following weekend, all five squads continued their unbeaten streak to start the season with the U17s leading the charge with a massive 13-0 victory over Breakers FC. The U15s did a number on their opponent as well, earning a 6-0 win and – along with the U17s – posted a shutout for a second consecutive match. The U13s collected its first win of the season with a 6-1 triumph while the U14s bagged its second straight victory with a 4-1 win. The U19s remained undefeated following a 1-1 result against Breakers.

Republic FC’s Academy will host an opportunity for elite youth soccer players to earn a spot in the region’s only youth development program competing in the country’s premier youth soccer platform with tryouts this coming weekend. This Friday, May 14 and Sunday, May 16, players born 2008 (U14) and 2007 (U15) will have a chance to be evaluated by SRFC Academy coaches and first team technical staff. The 2005/2006 (U17) and 2004/2003 (U19 ) tryouts will take place on Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6.
